About Progressive Schoolhouse

On this site, I'm going to talk about progressive political ideas in the simplest words I can manage, so that they will be readable by the greatest number of people, especially by young people. I encourage students to write reports for school based on the ideas and information you find here and elsewhere, and teachers and parents to share material from this site with your kids. I'd love any help I can get, especially on The Struggle. * A final note (3/12/01): I honestly didn't think George Bush was going to win the 2000 Presidential election, or that he'd give his first major address so quickly (or push an agenda quite as far to the right as he has) and now I'm rushing this site onto the Internet earlier than I'd planned. That's why it contains so little content at this point. However, I will be continuing to add new material just as fast as I can write it up, so please come back from time to time to check it out!
