The Game of Musical Chairs

One day, the animals of the forest decided to play a game. At first, they thought they'd play "Pin the tail on the human." That way, any animal who played well enough accomplish the goal of the game could win a prize. However, some of the animals felt it would be more fun if they played a game where it would be impossible for everybody to win. And so they decided to play a game of musical chairs. And instead of having only one less chair than the number of players (so there'd always be only one loser for each round of the game) they decided that they would always have about five percent fewer chairs than players, so if one hundred animals were playing, there would only be ninety five chairs and five of the animals would lose, or if there were five hundred players, there would only be four hundred seventy five chairs and twenty five of the animals would end up without one, and so forth. They gave the job of managing the chairs to the Weasel.
